1. Overview
HyperWords (“we”, “our”, “the Service”) is a web-based AI writing studio at app.hyperwords.pro with an optional companion Chrome extension. This policy explains what data we handle and how.
2. Data we process
2.1 Documents and text you submit
When you explicitly trigger an AI action — clicking a toolbar button, running a custom skill, sending a chat message, or using the Chrome extension on a webpage — the text you have selected (along with relevant document context) is sent to our backend AI service to generate the requested response.
- What:The text you actively select or type, the action type (e.g. “Rewrite”, “Proofread”), and your Voice & Style settings if configured.
- Document storage: Documents you create in the studio are stored on our servers under your account so you can come back to them later.
- AI request retention: Individual AI requests are processed in real time and discarded after the response is returned.
- Training: Your content is NOT used to train AI models.
2.2 Account data
When you sign up at app.hyperwords.pro, we store your email address, hashed password (or third-party auth identifier), and basic profile fields you provide. Voice & Style settings and custom AI skills are stored under your account so they sync across sessions.
2.3 Usage counters
To enforce plan limits (e.g. 25 rewrites/day on Free), we track per-day and per-month action counts tied to your account. These counters do not record the content of your text — only the action type and timestamp.
2.4 Subscription data (paid plans)
If you upgrade to Pro or Unlimited, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive only:
- Subscription status (active / past due / cancelled)
- Plan tier and billing cycle
- Stripe customer ID (to look up your subscription)
We do NOT see, store, or process credit card data. Card data lives entirely with Stripe and never reaches our servers.
3. Third-party services

4. What we do NOT do
- We do NOT collect your browsing history.
- We do NOT track which websites you visit.
- We do NOT read page content unless you explicitly select text and trigger an action.
- We do NOT sell user data to anyone.
- We do NOT use your data for advertising.
- We do NOT share data with analytics services.
5. Your rights
You can:
- Stop using the Service at any time.
- Cancel a paid plan from the customer portal in your account settings.
- Export or delete your documents, custom skills, and Voice & Style settings from inside the app.
- Contact us to permanently delete your account and associated data.
