✦ Chapter II · In practice

Get a feel for
what HyperWords
can do for you

Set your voice once.

Two short fields in Personalize: who you are, and how you want HyperWords to write. Every action — yours or built-in — respects that voice from then on.

HyperWords personalization settings for saving your writing voice and style

Write, rewrite, build skills.

Draft in the editor. Highlight any sentence and pick from 13 built-in actions, or run a custom skill you saved earlier. Edit any built-in prompt — "Formal" means whatever you want it to mean.

Proofread, summarize, then chat.

Always-on Proofread catches typos. Bullet Summary turns long pages into scannable notes. Drop a PDF or URL, ask follow-up questions a week later — the AI still knows the source.

✦ Chapter III · The Toolkit

Most tools hand you their prompts.
We hand you the keys.

Edit any built-in prompt, build reusable custom AI skills, proofread grammar mistakes, summarize PDFs and URLs, and chat with anything you write. HyperWords keeps your brand voice, personal tone, and writing instructions attached to every rewrite.

Voice & Style personalization

Two fields. Who you are, who you write for, how you sound. Every action — yours or built-in — respects that voice. Suggestions feel like you wrote them, not a chatbot.

13 actions, all editable

Rewrite, Formal, Casual, Shorter, Expand, Continue, Explain… open any built-in, edit the prompt, save. "Formal" means whatever you want it to mean.

Build your own skills

Type a prompt once. Save it as a skill. Reuse it across every doc and every site, forever.

Chat with any doc

Ask follow-ups about the page you're writing — or any saved summary. The AI keeps the source.

Spell & grammar — unlimited

Always-on Proofread catches typos and slips while you write. Free forever.

Summaries you can chat with

Drop a URL, PDF, or DOCX. Get a TL;DR plus structured bullets, each linked to its source page. Open it a week later and ask follow-up questions — the AI still knows the source.

✦ Chapter IV · The Readers

Built for every kind
of writing.

Marketers, PMs, students, researchers, and founders use HyperWords to rewrite emails, summarize source material, proofread grammar, translate drafts, and turn rough notes into clear writing without losing their own voice.

✦ Chapter VII · The Subscribers

Built for everyone
who writes.

From quick Slack replies to long-form essays — these are the people HyperWords is designed for.

“

“HyperWords replaces three tools with one. Highlight a sentence, pick an action, done — that's the entire workflow.”

W
The writing coach
Helps clients ship cleaner drafts

“Stop agonising over every Slack message. Draft in the studio, hit Clearer, send the version that lands.”

D
The product designer
Lives in Slack and Figma

“Grammar fixes that respect your voice are rare — and the diff highlight shows exactly what changed.”

G
The graduate student
Researching, writing, defending

“Stop second-guessing every sentence. Generate alternatives, keep the one that fits, move on.”

C
The content marketer
Ships blog posts every week

“Custom skills replace the 'make this clearer' mental loop entirely. Build the prompt once, reuse it forever.”

E
The senior engineer
Lives in PRs, docs, issue threads
F
The freelance writer
Email-first workflow

Open the studio, draft, rewrite, ship. Hard to write client emails any other way after a week.

C
The consultant
Drafts proposals all day

Rewrite four client emails before coffee. The flow just disappears into the background.

S
Software engineers
Reviewing PRs, writing docs

Word-diff highlighting matters here — you see exactly what the suggestion changed before accepting it.

N
Non-native English writers
Writing in a second language

Grammar mode fixes mistakes without erasing the voice underneath. That's the part most tools get wrong.

T
Translators & polyglots
Switching between languages

Custom skills handle arbitrary prompts — translate to Vietnamese, turn into a tweet, summarise — without leaving the doc.

M
Marketing teams
Shipping launch copy

Roll it out team-wide. Launch copy ships faster, and tone consistency stops being a debate.

L
Long-form writers
Essays, novels, reports

Continue writing picks up the thread mid-paragraph and keeps the voice. Whole flow feels effortless.

K
Copywriters
Ads, landing pages, emails

Stop juggling Grammarly + a separate rewriter + a chatbot tab. One tool covers all three jobs.

G
Growth & ops teams
Slack-first, async-heavy

Three things change quickly when a team adopts HyperWords: Slack messages stop getting 'can you clarify?' replies, blog draft-to-publish cycles tighten, and new hires onboard faster because tone consistency is enforced in real time.

✦ Chapter VIII · The Margins

Got questions,
we've got answers.

Everything you need to know about HyperWords before you get started.

Two things, one account: a writing studio at app.hyperwords.pro (a document editor with 13 customizable AI actions, custom skills, a chat assistant, and Voice & Style personalization), plus a Chrome extension that brings the same actions and skills into Gmail, Notion, Docs, Slack, LinkedIn, and the rest of the web.

Yes. The free plan gives you Voice & Style personalization, all 13 built-in AI actions, 1 custom AI skill, unlimited spell & grammar checks, 25 chats per day, 25 rewrites per day, and 10 summaries per month. No credit card required.

Two layers of customization. (1) The 13 built-in actions — Rewrite, Formal, Casual, Continue writing, etc. — are EDITABLE. Open Personalize > Skills, click any built-in, and rewrite its prompt. "Casual" can mean exactly what casual means to you. (2) Skills are entirely new actions you build from scratch with a prompt — "Translate to Vietnamese", "Turn into a tweet thread", "Rewrite for non-technical readers". Free includes 1 custom skill, Pro 5, Unlimited unlimited.

Two short fields in Personalize: who you are / who you write for, and how you want HyperWords to write — tone, language, what to avoid. Every rewrite respects that profile, so suggestions don't drift into generic chatbot prose.

Paste a URL or drop a PDF / DOCX. HyperWords extracts the source, then produces a TL;DR plus structured bullets, each with a clickable citation back to the source page. The summary is saved as a document in your workspace. Open it later, and the AI Chat sidebar lets you ask follow-up questions about the source — "what does it say about onboarding?" or "summarize chapter 3 in 5 lines". The summary remembers the source, so the chat is grounded.

Four things the others can't do: (1) Every built-in action in HyperWords is editable — open 'Formal' or 'Continue writing' and rewrite the prompt to match how you actually want it to behave. Wordtune and QuillBot lock you into their versions of those styles. (2) Build your own skills from a sentence and reuse them across every doc and every site. (3) Summaries are documents that remember their source — drop a PDF, get TL;DR + bullets with page citations, then chat with the summary later to ask follow-ups. (4) No 125-word cap on rewrites the way QuillBot's free tier has. Plus Pro starts at $3.99/mo — roughly a third of Grammarly Premium, less than half of QuillBot Premium annual, and well under half of Wordtune Unlimited.

Both — and they share the same account, voice profile, and custom skills. Use the studio at app.hyperwords.pro for drafting, organizing pages, and chatting with your doc. Install the extension when you want the same 13 actions and skills inside Gmail, Notion, Slack, LinkedIn, or any other text field on the web. Most people end up using both.

Your text is sent to our AI only when you trigger an action, processed in real time, and not used to train models. We don't track browsing, we don't read pages without an action, and we don't sell user data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

From the customer portal inside the app — your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, then stops automatically. No lock-in, no questions.

Your next draft starts sounding like you.

Draft in the web app, rewrite from the Chrome extension, summarize long sources, and save the prompts that match how you actually write.
